Diagnosis
Antennal clava in female strong, 2.4X as wide as width of 1st flagellomere, and with a large ovate sense area ventrally, clava with apex pointed, clavomere 1 longer than 2, 3rd flagellomere transverse, 0.7X as long as wide; mesoscutum and scutellum metallic bluish-green; petiole 1.4X as long as wide.

From Cassidinae indet. (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae) on Elaeis guineensis (Arecaceae).
Similar species in Lucid key
rhopalotus, but beatus with flagellomere 4 longer than 5, apex of antennal clava pointed, antennal clava with a large ovate sense area ventrally, petiole 1.4X as long as wide.
fustigatus, but beatus with antennal clava with a large ovate sense area ventrally.
